Hi Ben

Would it be a major task to extend the data to reflect the MAUW to be 800kg? This would then provide info for the new J430's which now have an increased MAUW of 800kg.

Tks

Hi Tony

760kg or 800kg? I am not aware of a change to 800kg. It was 700kg with an increase to 760kg.

Hi,

She was weighed on Wednesday and came in at 396kg. First test flight was that afternoon and all went well. I haven't spilled the beans on the new plane or build on the forum yet. Will wait to take delivery and will then post pictures, etc. on the Jabiru group.

Hi Tony,

Has the paper work come through from Aus? The last I heard (~2 months ago) they were still waiting for final papers although they are building to the 800kg spec for around 1 year now.

Regards
Dave

PS I bet you chomping at the bit to get your hands on her.

Hi Dave

I am presuming that it has. In fact I was not aware that there was an issue :? . I have seen the draft POH for my plane and it states 800kg MAUW. I hope that there isn't an issue as time is very tight wrt getting the ATF through the SACAA system in time to take delivery this year (I know optimistic, but very hopeful).

And yes, can't wait :D

Awesome !!! It must have come through then, if POH has been updated. Was no real issue, Aus just had to sign off on the paper work but wanted the factory to do additional testing for COG limits, or something to that effect. Don't see an issue at SACAA, mine reflects as 800 on the register but I have been waiting for the POH to be updated.
