Our plan is to have an inter-club Fly-in this year on Saturday the 30th of June. We would like to invite all the clubs where we have attended fly-ins over the past few years, to come down and join us in KZN for a change. It’s been many years since we have had any decent Airshows in KZN and we plan to change that. This event will be a great get together to meet all the other clubs and introduce them to many of our members here who haven’t travelled to many other events. We hope you will join us and share your experiences in organising similar events so that we can go forward and plan our 2019 event to ensure it’s a success.
The plan is the main fly-in will be the Saturday 30th June. Flying will be available from Friday 29th already for those wanting to get down early and have some test flights, can do so. Saturday we will fly and finish the day with a Spit braai. Sunday will again be open for flying to those who want to stay on longer, otherwise it allows travellers from further time to get back.
To summarise :
Friday 29th – arrive, setup and test flights
Saturday 30th June – Pilots briefing at 08h00 ( compulsory for all pilots) and then flying will commence till sundown. Spitbraai at the field in the evening.
Sunday 01 July – open flying for all that want to.
More details and info will follow, please forward on to your clubs email lists, anyone wanting more info if they can email me their email address to email@example.com we will keep a list going and send all updates out to all concerned.
