Hi Kobus
Thanks!
63MPH indicated stall speed (clean).
580kg
0-320 will work - takeoff just won't be quite as sprightly as with the 360.
I approach at 80MPH but will slowly work this down to about 75.

I flew today but spent the time in the circuit experimenting with the mechanical flap system. Looks like I will rip it out and install an electric flap actuator. Didn"t go over 190MPH today.

Was that taken as you blasted past them? :D
Gravity sucks.
Gravity never loses - the best you can hope for is a draw.

Hi Mark
Within a few weeks. I need to do a proper climb test and also get the coarser prop on to allow wide open throttle. The numbers so far are looking rather promising!

Hi Mark
Still expanding envelope. 213MPH so far. Need to get to Vne of 230 still. Cruise looks to be over 200MPH at sea level!!. Have clearance from CAA to do two longer flights over the next few weeks during which I'll get more accurate data. (been restricted to 100km so far). Currently about half way through the proving flight hours and so far apart from the alternator problem there have been no snags. Have also expanded the G to around 3 and checked roll rates with aileron rolls. All in all looks to be a VERY sweet aerie!!

Extremely fast machine and I would hazard a guess that it must have a very nice roll rate. Will hopefuly see it in the flesh shortly. What will she stall at with full flaps down?

finally found an RV to fly next to....Thanks Roy for our short formo sortie. The good news is that the X easily holds its own against an RV6 (with constant speed prop)!! In fact it seems quite a bit faster... Screenshot below at the end of our formo sortie....there was a light tailwind so the 180kts is more like 170kts or so.
Today was also the first flight with near full tanks. Climb test at 120kts (cruise climb) averaged around 1100'/min.
