Moving to Petit

Unread post by stefan » Mon Feb 04, 2013 9:54 pm

So the time has come to leave my beloved Lowveld behind and move to the big smoke. We have outgrown our facilities at Komatipoort and because of the uncertainty of the airfield future I decided not to invest further in the current infrastructure. The move is costly and it would not cost much more to move to a more central location than it would have cost to move to a private airfield in the area so I decided to move the factory back to Gauteng.cThe move will be completed by the end of March. There will be very little disruption in production as we planned ahead and build up stock levels. The weld shop will be the last to move and the first to be operational again. We estimate a maximum down time in production fo approximately 2 weeks. We are very excited about this move as I strongly believe it is a move in the right direction. We look forward to be assistance in the very near future. I will post the new tel numbers as soon as I have them. In the mean time cutomers can still e-mail @info@saplanes.co.za or call me on my cell 082 601 8970

Hi Stefan,

am sure this has been a big decision. How quickly will the flight school start operating? I have been toying with the idea of a Taillie rating using a Bushbaby and now I will wait till you guys get here.

Can you give me a rough idea of cost?

We have already strated the move. I am waiting on CAA for a date for the school inspection but I suspect we will be up and running between mid March and mid April.
