Interesting that it took about 3 years before growth really kicked in. Did you do anything different at around that time?

Allan McLeod Cormack, 1979, Medicine

Desmond Tutu, 1990, Peace(My favourite..)

Nadine Gordimer, 1991, Literature

Sydney Brenner, 2002, Medicine

Johnn Maxwell Coetzee, 2003, Literature

So 'Peace' and 'Medicine' are our strong points! :D

I found them! South Africa actually has 11 Nobel prize winners. The last 2 are:

Aaron Klug, 1982, Chemistry(Born in Lithuania but moved to SA at the age of 2)

Michael Levitt, 2013, Chemistry University of Pretoria or Tukkies.

Also very often in more advanced economies the locals are not prepared to some of the jobs that migrants will do, eg, fruit pickers etc in USA.

Agree with birthrates! But what's the problem? Don't they like kids..or don't they know what to do? :oops:
