Life lessons

Unread post by Ugly Duckling » Thu Jan 10, 2019 7:38 am

From FB
Bought my son a 300 piece tool kit and a tool box for his 15th birthday. I stole his 10mm. He needs to learn the struggle is real. I am full of life lessons.
Next is the 13 & 1/4" ratchet

But as in life the 10 will secretly mutate into 2 11s....

Take the 13 as well and replace with 14 just so that it is not obviously missing...

UD you are cruel but an excellent teacher (using examples...)

Hide your kit away, or the life lesson goes the other way when you cant find your 10mm.
If ever in doubt about flying - drink a beer.
That will give you at least 8 hours to think about it some more.

All you will achieve is that your son will become an artist or musician or worse - ends up staying with his parents until you eventually throw him out on his 45th birthday...

What's wrong with being a musician? At least we lose money while having great fun doing it. Kinda like flying.

Just for that I'm gonna come around and blunt all your side-cutters and flatten the tips of your Philips screwdrivers

Nice set of deep sockets.
Wide handled screwdrivers too... nice kit.
Can you pass me a star screwdriver.
Ok, take this Philips.
No.. I want a Star.
Alright, have this star, giving him the same screwdriver.
Thanks..
