I get 7.37% through Investec - 1 day call account.
My wife has money in a 60 month account at Nedbank at 12.96%.
I thought putting it in the stock market (local or overseas) would be better, but for the last 5 years it was not a good idea...
The sky is not the limit....

Absa had a "special" last year Dec, 13% for 60 month term...Difficult to beat that!

Bad luck! Try over easter again. The lending is suppose to be higher again..

I see African bank has a 12.95% on 60 months fix. Don't know if its current.

6% above inflation is good..

Just a little report back , I checked Netbank and seen 7,6 % on a 32 day notice account , told my standard bank business banker about it and after a long hoo- hah he came back with 6.9%, so after 36 years I opened an account by an other Bank , all I can say is , I should have moved to Netbank a long time ago that stupid sense of loyalty cost me on the end of the day a lot of money , worst of all it was so easy , over the net , and all happened as advertised !
After using Netbank for 1 month on all sorts of transactions, including international , it feels like moving on from that first Nokia phone, when you realise there is a whole new world out there
