That looks like a black widow where did you find it?

This is very possibly the species of Widow found in KZN. The below specimen is not as bright but you'll notice the patterning on the back is very similar. The leg shape and structure is also very much the same. Not an expert on spiders, more into snakes :mrgreen:

Very good idea to check with them first...not impossible fora spider species to move, new or not, definitely

better to hear from the spider experts though :wink:
