:D if you're going to be modded it doesn't get better than being modded with good English

Kudos to the mod concerned =D> :D

And my apologies - I do know the rules ...

Given that this is about English - surely you didn't mean to end that sentence on a preposition?

Correct construction: "To what thread or comment do you refer?" And the "what" could maybe be a "which" but we don't want to appear overtly pedantic now, do we?

"Can you tell me where Big Ben is at, P*** ?", as the very old joke goes.

But more of this nonsense up with which I shall not put.

Unlike you, I do not write for a living. You have no excuse for poor English, you have an army of editors and proof readers to sort that nonsense out.

you missed another opportunity to wield your intellectual prowess and point out that I again finished a sentence with a preposition.

"you want to put it in ?" is a sentence that finishes with both a preposition and a proposition.

Is this a reference to the typist with the big boobies or the seckerterry with the lekker long legs?

Neither, it is the conversation you have with your publisher....

You know, the alternate ending you wrote. Do you want it in or not ?
