If the state is actually trying to overturn this dodgy deal , then that is certainly a step in the right direction.

Yes, they are. Glencor tried to derail the court case with an interlocutory application but then the company withdrew that. The main event still has to take place. In the meantime the oil isn't going anywhere, it's still just stored in Saldanha.
