Keep a close eye on who often precedes, follows or accompanies the "rubbish bin vultures" (and this is becoming more prevalent by the day). It is usually an unusually well-dressed one with a small rucksack who rummages through the rubbish for till slips and other useful financial info. (The amounts on the slips and where shopped are dead give-aways on the state and "take-away" attractiveness of your household). Have even caught them removing letters from post boxes.

In our area wheelie bins "go walk about" on garbage day. They are also used to provide the step up to peer over or scale the wall [-X

What about cameras on the street corners. You want to prevent them from coming into your erf/yard..

A mate of mine kept getting burgled at his motorbike dealership.
So he put stickers up ....declaring snakes were being used as internal deterrents .

Worked like a charm!

BTW there are folk who actually do this,as in use live snakes.

I also know of criminals who carry cats around, they let them go before they enter a place in case someone has left a bunch of snakes in the house / shop
