One report mentions he did not know how to drive a manual car, yet the Corrola was a manual :o
Hard to do that damage in 1st gear.
I call bs on that claim! #-o How can a 70+ male in SA not know how to drive a stick?

Whirly.
Agreed Whirly. Extract of the report from News 24:
Former Bosasa fleet manager Frans Vorster confirmed to News24 that the Corolla in which Watson was killed had a manual gearbox, whereas Watson could only drive automatic cars.

After Sunday's prayer meeting, a fellow director questioned Watson why he would sign out a manual pool car, while he could only drive automatic models. He left the office park in the manual Corolla.

The highways are littered with cameras.

Easy to check if he had an International flight booking although very little Int. flights leave that time of the morning.

If he was driving a car "below his status" , maybe he was trying to be less "visable" and dodge some people who might have been after him...?
Could he maybe have been trying to avoid someone chasing him and then pranged

I know it sounds allot like a TV plot

Co-author of book on Watson last night on TV news claimed the man was a very religious person who did not drink and smoke? - maybe he has gone to pave the way for his buddy Zuma when his time comes?

May be something in that, especially since it has been disclosed now that he did not have a cell phone with him either.

The real loss here is again for the SA tax payer. Would have been interesting to hear what he had to say. Confirm or deny what has been said by others and possibly new revelations?

Unanimity on Avcom? It seems some apples are just so bad that no-one will mourn their passing.
