Can the guys at Vredendal and surrounds give an indication of the usability of the runways at Kleinzee, Hondeklipbaai, Strandfontein and Doringbaai. Also best weather window this side of Christmas.
Planning a trip Rustenburg to West coast and around the Cape to St Francis. Will use a Mooney.

The "Blomme" will be beautiful in the Springbok area this time of the year, and then a little stop off on the pan at Port Nolloth with lunch at "Vespetti cafe", a short walk away, magnificent :D .

Lambertsbay airfield is also in good condition and worth a stop. No fuel available.

I think the Strandfontein field is only for micro lights.
