So what are you planning to braai on Tuesday? Nothing like a traditional SA braai!

Affirm, but it does depend on the cut.
Heavily marbled cuts need time for the fat to render and become soft, so for something like a good rib-eye it, it should be closer to medium but never EVER beyond that.

Also, rare shouldn't be cool.
If you're not a chop (no pun intended) you will take meat out of the fridge for an hour or more to come up to room temp. That way it needs less cooking.
Fridge to braai is properly stoooopid.

These guys sell dry mature cuts www.biltong.co.za Worth to pay a little more..

A good med to med rare for me thanks! =P~ =P~

What do you use to braai. Charcoal, brickets, wood(what kind?) . Gas"braaiers" please stay of this thread! :?

Julle is gelukkig met n oorvloed goeie hout(kameeld.) Hier werk die beste vir my lekker droog sekelbos. Ek koop gewoonlik 2 pakke. Een met dun stukke en een met lekker dik stukke. Meng dit dan.. Dit brand maklik, ruik lekker en maak goeie kole. Ook darem indringer hout..
Darem niks lekkerder as n gesellige vuurtjie! :D
