License Numbers

Unread post by Stephen Robertson » Mon Mar 04, 2013 9:32 pm

I would like to find out if my existing licence number from the SACAA used for the training on a RH44 is carried over for my training on the Sling LSA for which I will get a licence for, or will RASAA change my license number to one of their own thus making me have two license numbers?

If you are depressed, you are living in the past.
If you are anxious, you are living in the future.
If you are at peace, you are living in the present.

I have a fixed wing CPL and have just been issued my RAASA issued paragliding license and they both have the same license number. I would therefore assume the same for you.

The license number assigned to you remains the same, no matter what "licenses" or endorsements you collect as you continue. Don't forget that RAASA is an "administrative" body that is doing a function that is outsourced by SACAA.

You will be issued a separate License cover by RAASA - in an orange book for the NPL LSA, but your license number remains the same.
