For me (Johnny come lately) let me just understand this. RAASA will in future issue all NPL licenses ? Does that include Student Pilot licenses for NPL as well ?

Yes, it seems that it does - checking their website.

Been "spooking" with CAA to get Bush baby on my license since 2007. (ferried one from CT and it is endorsed in my log, have the convex papers etc, but they not happy. Long story). Enter the animal. Now I 'NEED" the rating. Tried CAA again. NOPE. Try RAASA, so off to see Willen and Co at Rand. 1hr and 15mins later I had the orange book with said endorsements =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Really Awesome Aviation Service Authority (RAASA)

What am I missing ? It takes one organisation 2 months and the other 2 hours to do the same thing ? Is it just the new South Africa where everything is on Africa time and everyone debates (and takes years doing it) about who should be fired ?

With Raasa it`s unnecessary to pay a third party to personally hand in and retrieve documents to prevent them from disappearing. And it takes a fraction of the time (as stated earlier by someone).
I`m really grateful for and impressed with the service at Raasa.
Thank you.
