RPL & Cross border flights

Unread post by T4flyer » Tue Dec 22, 2009 3:23 pm

Hi All,

I converted my 3 axis MPL (grandpa clause) to an RPL earlier this year. I would really like to fly across our borders, the question is, will my RPL be recognised as a legal pilots licence in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe etc.

Can anyone tell me if my RPL is ok for across our border :?:

Cheers, T4Flyer

Hi T4flyer.

You can contact the relevant authority for permission to fly into their territory. As far as I know there have been no problems thus far.

Kind Regards
Willem
