if the "THEORY" is correct, then the forward bent prop means it was under considerable power when it first struck the ground ?

From someone at the scene I can share that there was too much air in the fuel tanks...

Prop tips being bent would suggest that engine running at impact. Does not gel with the fuel starvation rumour?

That prop bending rule is far from infallible. But on the same topic, I seem to remember this 180 had been fitted with a CSU. Anyone know it that's correct? It was never a good idea on the 180s - it simply added weight, maintenance costs and seemed to degrade performance.
