I used her for about 4 years from 1968 to 1972, when I converted to an AC680F ZS-CTC. Never had a problem and she handled beautifully. Thanks again.

By that, do you mean that you do not have the info now, but you did have it in the past ? I was just interested to know, as it was in the "Company Air Force" Yonks ago and I did a number of hours on it, whilst ZS-CTC was being serviced. Not in the same league though, as far as I am concerned. Thanks .

Re: Registrations from the 70's
Thanks AC6T, another ignominious ending to an Aircraft that I once flew. ZS-CTC was the other. You actually wonder how the hell one can forget to lower the wheels in an Aero Commander. Besides the three lights, there are these two great big things haning down on either side of you. Of course, I don't know the reason and am assuming finger trouble. Maybe mechanical. Thanks againAC6T wrote:ERNIE wrote:Ray

IIRC the retract ram failed and the right main gear did not lock.ERNIE wrote:Thanks Ray for your trouble. AC6T has come up with the answer, above.Ray W wrote:Bad spelling Ernie. What I meant was I wish I did have a photo of SSN.
