Yes that is the one I saw in the factory in Livorno, they were busy covering the wings, the fuz and tail feathers were done.
very very nice build, very solid workmanship, very strongly built plane.
in my personal opinion the Titan 180hp is a too heavy engine for the airframe, I prefer the concept of keeping the whole plane light and rather using a turbo rotax that doesn't get as badly affected by Density Altitude.

I think they sent this one to the US. Yes, engine to heavy and not necessary..

The new rotax 915is turbo will be a perfect fit imo, weighing only about 85kg, full 135hp everywhere!

Placed order last July, expecting delivery before the end of this year. Could not be happier with the service and support to date from the local agents, Craig & Ian at Flying Frontiers or Pasquale Russo (Mr. Zlin Savage) himself. Have been to the factory twice (first time the day before we placed the order) and plan on at least 2 more visits during the build.

Here's our spec -

Shock Cub
Yellow
Rotax 915 turbo 135 hp
Aerodynamic package carbon slats and vortex complete set
Black Carbon-fibre wingtips
Extended fuel tank 108 lt
3 blade carbon prop yellow tips
29” Alaskan Bushwheel Airstreaks main wheels plus dual fork Matco tailwheel
Beringer single caliper brakes
Shooter left window (opening)
Strobes, Nav & landing light LED system
Control stick mounted trim switch
Black interior
Black pack comands inst. panel
MGL iEFIS 7" main reference with integrated engine parameters
ASI, Alimeter,
Comet/MGL V06 Comm with integrated intercom
Trig TT22 Mode S transponder with ADS-B Out
Note: the main seats will be installed 4 cm backward including standard seats and standard floorboards

It's going to be worth the wait. Will document the build.

Delivery at Flying Frontiers base in the Natal Midlands hopefully by the end of the year and we'll fly it home to Stellenbosch the longest way possible.

Will get to know her real well far away from the ground before we get to have fun down towards the ground.

Will keep you posted.

Yup, from what I hear the bush-tires do get bit up by the tar, especially the tail-wheel. The Alaskan Bushwheel tail-wheel is great but suffers badly on tar. For this reason I've reluctantly (on Pasquale's advice) gone for the more durable Matco assembly.

That landing at the end of the clip is pretty epic.

Oh well, then its better to land just next to the runway! The Shock Cub only needs 20-30m of grass..

Used to be common and standard practice. Land on the grass at many fields now and you'll have a stream of knobs in reflective jackets tearing out to give you a hard time.

The first Shock for SA will be off the production line in mid-September, and heading our way to Howick to join the Bobber in our Bush Pilot Academy for advanced training. There are 2 more on order, waiting for the new Rotax 915 motors, which have been somewhat delayed.

We've opted for some different choices in terms of undercarriage, using the more conventional Supercub type U/C but with monster shocks instead of bunjees. 27" Aero Classic tyres, and most interesting, a 140HP Rotax 912uls with Supercharger. The aircraft will be equipped with basic steam gauges, and a mount for an iPAD mini in the centre of the panel. Lots of other bits and pieces, but will have to wait a few months for the reveal...we can't wait to get our hands on it!!!
