Isn't it scary how quick the ignorant are to jump to the nearest foolish conclusion?

Maybe Cemair should think twice before carrying bimbos on the jump seat!

Agree! I cannot think of any other technology that has caused so much bad drama in peoples lives - the smartphone... and yes the selfie sometimes acting like a loaded gun!

The penchant for the look at me I was there! I tell you I was there, here's looking at me now kid, me, me, me....

I knew a guy that hurled his smartphone at the wall, he screamed out, "that thing has cost me big time!"
Next day he had a simple classic old Nokia! Not long after, about 10 days he had the latest model iPhone and took a massive selfie of his fat old self posing somewhere cool and belted out to all and sundry, FB, WhatsApp, the works... it's become a drug!

Apologies for going off topic.
Straighten up and fly right!

Sitting on the floor, "my ass".....she is sitting in the jump-seat....NOTHING WRONG.

Furthermore...the aircraft is on the ground
Goffel.
If you look at the selfie pic you can see the latching point for the jumpseat to the right of her arm and the latch for the cockpit door just forward and above that (the jumpseat being a bench that folds down across the cockpit entrance and you sit with your back to the door).
That quite easily creates the impression of sitting on the floor as that is pretty much where you would have to be to take a picture with that perspective.
Of course that could be on the ground and the seat as been raised to allow cockpit access for all the procedural stuff.

I believe that in response to a CarCom request by Comair, the CAA has approved supernumerary pax.

Correct Cage
Persons are very quick to jump to conclusions, based on a single picture, that no context or description has been provided for by the 'poster'. Most likely a 'selfie' of the blond to show she was up close to the cockpit, 'ek was daar'.
I believe there are many persons that post similar pictures, on their social media, that are just that, nothing untoward or illegal about it.
Being CemAir, there has been alot of negative posts and focus on this thread, what would the assumption or reaction have been if this was one of the other airlines in SA?

Sorry, Jon - but where does it state that she is "Sitting on the ground between the pilots"?
I may be wrong but the #idonthaveaseat says enough...
But like I said, I am not familiar so please educate me on normal pax who do not have a seat?
I'm not trying to cause drama but if this has anything todo with what CAA is trying to prevent then it means alot.

Is there another jumpseat available on these flights for pax?

Jon
Actually '#ihavenoseat'...

Maybe she messed-up her original flight booking with another airline or Cemair and did not have a seat on her flight she thought she had booked (she is blonde - prone to making mistakes [ ]) flight, then was able to fly with CemAir... :?:

So it would appear that there had been groundings of the fleet (8) aircraft so the posts here were true.
