Due to the price increase in ammunition, do not expect a warning shot.

Because this thing is only 7 years younger than me there are lots of analog systems to get use to. Only hopped into it quick last night (only got it after 11PM) and did a quick hot start takeoff and thumbsuck landing back...on land...and it flew nice and landing was acceptable even though I have no idea what I was suppose to do, dropped the gear, went full on the flaps and slowed down till the AoA donut was on and landed.

For pete's sake the lantirn pod youtube video gave me a headache halfway through!!!! Complete information overload!

At least it’s a nice mostly analog plane 😝
First kill, guns only. Mainly because I don’t know how to use the radar systems. My spitfire is looking very cosy, but now going to have to go head down into the manuals.
I am the last Cylon...

So got some flight time tonight. Went to altitude, drop the flaps and gear and try to get onspeed. Fark this is NOT the Hornet!!! You got to look at several things at once, almost like an IF scan and I haven't done that in YEARS!!!! Got it relatively ok with a loooooong final to the runway. Doing a 18sec groove, not in the foreseeable future!!!!

So I'm stuggling to get this thing on the boat! This was my effort just now, started high, so I'm sitting on the DLC, yes I know...wrong, but I get it semi onto the glideslope but then right at the end float and we go around. Second pass is way way high, so again...DLC... this one sorts itself out better but I get the alignment completely f.up. Ended with a slight low ball and the predictable 2 wire, Jester did not sound impressed.
