ONLINE PORTAL

Unread post by putco »

Is anyone on here struggling with the portal ICASA have set up please?

No-one replies to an email, the portal amendment functions are not accessible and when l phone, no-one is available.

I guess a proof of payment for the next five years will suffice?

Who manages ICASA ....

Obviously the work from home policy is at play here - the one time I managed to get through to someone they were not at the office, but happily spending time in what sounded like a shopping center during working hours . I see others have same issue. What is it that drives these institutions down the drain other than a complete lack of understanding of how their organisation should function and stand for.

So we back to pay a deposit attach that to a old radio licence and hiope you legal - insurance implications notwithstanding .   Icasa

I have managed to navigate through the whole on-line thing.
I have done the payment and on my profile status it shows as payment confirmed.
Now I am stuck...
I don't see how to download the actual licence.
All I have received from ICASA is the invoice, by email.
I am using CHROME.
any advice?
Thanks

Wait....takes ICASA about a week to process the application. You'll get an email when it's done...

Paid ICASA on time in February from invoice received and no coms since. All calls are not answered and all emails are ignored. Portal status says “in progress “ soon after payment was made but nothing happens.

What an exemplary example of mediocrity in our Nations Communications regulator!!

And NO i don't want to go via a paid agent because it should work as it was intended. We should not have to grease palms through a service fee for something that should be working !!
