Unread post by FoxTROT »

How about a new thread detailing upcoming schedule changes, amendments, additions etc in one place.

Let’s open the batting with this one, Air Mauritius will start services between CPT and MRU:

Good idea. Wasn't there a thread about airline changes allready?

Pity no news on air Mauritius resuming Durban, unless they get more aircrafts or get A319 again like they had.

Why doesn't Saudia resume Johannesburg? They open for tourism plus there is normally a demand for travel for the hajj.
I think I read EL AL will be inceasing to 3x weekly from October ,they currently twice a week

That is for airline FLEET changes. Let’s keep routes etc separate.

No they're actually doing JNB-VFA as well, which has now increased to 3 daily.

They also launched VFA-MQP a few months ago...these besides their domestic operations of HRE-VFA and HRE-BUQ

I am keeping an eye on Emirates. Before Covid they flew to JNB 4 times a day, now they are back to 50% with two A380's a day. Hopefully they will ad more frequencies soon.

I think KZN is stuffed, mismanaged into the ground by you know who... Tourists would rather do CPT.
