Has Airlinks flights to Nose Be been reinstated. ?
The last flight was on the 14th, with none scheduled, so I'm guessing not.

It's cyclone season in the Indian ocean at this time of year, all accommodation closes for a month or more.

Schedule re-commences 24 March 2024, no sense flying to an empty island is there?

I see Airlink cancelled the Durban to Bloemfontein route that they were supposed to start in Feb. Anyone know why?

There's a surprise...not, definitely no longer the golden triangle, Durban is wrecked as a destination.

It has gone down from what it used to be, Durban and surrounds really not what it used to be. South Coast to. If they pulled up their socks it could attract a lot more tourism, local and international.

Saw ERJ170s G-CLVN and G-CLVT in the hanger below on 15 March, still with the green line down the side from Alitalia. Two all-white ERJ170/190s were parked next to the hanger facing the terminal; could these be the two ex-Saratov Airlines examples (N255GE/N256GE) due for Airlink? Thank you.

I do know that CLVN and CLVT are the two E175s due, although I'm not sure about the white ERJs. 255GE is ZS-YDG, while I'm assuming 256GE is going to be ZS-YDD/YDF.

Is there a specific reason that the two E175s are taking so long to enter service? Does it have to get specific approval perhaps, as it would be the first of they type to operate in South Africa?
