That aircraft and it’s crew are FlyNamibia, they’re operating on behalf of Airlink. Just like Airlink did for SAA a few years ago.

No Airlink crew are flying V5 machines nor getting Nam validations.

So that means SAA used to wet lease SA express and SA Airlink. Got it.

The difference here is you cannot operate a foreign (in this case V5) aircraft on domestic routes unless you have some form of lease agreement in place. Otherwise doing so would be illegal.

This wouldn’t apply to SAA/SAX because both operations were local.
