So the Rand photo thread was started 18 years ago today

I saw an image of an identical machine on FB in Cape Town recently - I think the reg was ZS-RTS.....
Cape Town Helicopters just added one to their fleet too, AS365 N3+ ZT-HCT in new livery as seen on their Instagram post made 3 days ago.

Are there any H155 and H160 🚁 in SA?
Silvercross Helicopters in Cape Town have a beautiful EC155B/H155 on their fleet.

As for the H160's, I believe there are only about 60 airframes that have been built/delivered so far, and with a price tag of >$14m it will be interesting to see if any land up on the ZS- / ZT- Register!

Its amazing how much power is developed from such a small engine. Pity they cost an arm, three legs and a pelvis :)

And whilst on the subject of cost .. that 5 blade propeller probably costs as much as a reasonable house in JHB
