Cost to land at King Shaka?
Just curious, saw a C182 parked at King Shaka and wondered what the fees are to land a small plane there?

Are the landing fees confidential or not allowed on avcom?

If someone asks something on this forum its also to educate other members too, so that we dont have to ask same questions. I dont understand why someone would say "just sent you PM"

Re: Cost to land at King Shaka?
Acsa airport landing fees and applicable passenger taxes are gazetted, so it’s very easy to find out the actual landing fee you would pay, which is dependent upon the weight of your aircraft.
The expensive part about king Shaka is the handling required in order to get from the aircraft to the terminal building. I am not familiar with the matrix they use to charge for handling, however, for more commercially orientated aircraft like king air 200’s/PC12’s it is ridiculously expensive. I had a Quick Look, the gazette listed on their website is attached, however, I am pretty sure there is a newer one.

Re: Cost to land at King Shaka?
Expect the following cost landing at King Shaka with a small twin, Pilot and 2 pax and use of Menzies for passenger handling: R4000 with 1 nights parking.
