I recently completed my RPC with the MR and am looking for employment opportunities.
I do not see many posts regarding this online and so I turn to the community.
Does anyone know of any opportunities available in the Gauteng/Pretoria area ?
I am busy my CPL as well and looking for employment in the UAV/Drone sector to help fund training.

There are many companies looking for drone pilots. You can check for job listings on places like linkedin or Indeed but generally the best is to contact the companies and ask if they are recruiting.
Most of the jobs are currently in Security though. This means nightshift, travelling, harsh conditions and often being in unsafe environments. If you can deal with all that, apply at drone security companies like Milkor, Drone Ops, UAVi, Fidelity, UDS, Rocketmine, Cortac and so on.
It's not easy to get into the niche spaces with drones as a pilot since most of the time it's a one-man job and they already have someone who can fly - Like filmography or real estate but there are freelance jobs for pilots that can do things like that.
Mines also have drone pilot positions open from time to time, generally for security or for surveys but their requirements on additional education is usually quite harsh.

P.S if you know of someone that is really good at sales, the company I work for is looking for a UAV Sales executive to join the team.
