My prostate was enlarged, my PSA was 2,7, I had been taken Uromax for many years. In March 2024 I had a TURP, which is what you arrange for your worst enemy, and the scrapings came back cancerous. Unfortunately my urologist had to have a bone marrow transplant and passed away shortly after due to complications.
In June I contacted Frank who referred me to his associate Dr Mark Purdy. After the initial consultation a biopsy was performed and a few weeks later Frank and his associates performed a brachytherapy in July.
The follow up in November showed a reduction in prostate size, PSA at 0.6 and no need for Uromax.
Follow up in April 2025.
Please do not ignore your prostate health, a poor urine stream is one of the the 1st indications of issues.
Have an annual PSA blood test and biannual digital examination. Ja, is a k@k procedure but vital to establish the condition of the gland
