There are only 6 helicopters registered in Mauritius, so a third of their fleet is at Rand :)

I sold Air Mauritius their very first Jet Ranger, back in 89/90, IIRC. Was a 1977 B2 converted to B3, came out of Mexico with just over 700 hours total time.

That would I believe be 3B-NZA although interestingly its previous reg was ZS-HFN ..ie, no known Mexican reg

Came from the Mexican Militar or Police, but never came to SA. I don't know what the Mauritian registration is, if they still have that machine.

It would be interesting if you could still find some records ..the historical Mauritian register lists only 5 Jet Rangers ever being registered there of which none have Mexican civil or military connections listed, and only 1 B2 (NZA) having been registered which is a 3B-NZA, which is recorded as a B2 with B3 upgrade.

Aerospatiale 350B2 Squirrel ZS-RLE
This one is actually ZS-RLE(2). ZS-RLE(1) was a B3 which was exported back to Europe
