Not as far as I know. After the maiden they landed and then went up again ... so I assume no problem
Great news Bearcat but it is not a huge issue to get under control.

I had the privilege of flying our Extra in formation with the Sling 4 on its first flight. Was great to be up on its wing.

Well done to the TAF Team!!!

Yep, I have to agree, what an absolute privilege it was to be alongside for the first flight. A big thank you to Mike, James and Jean for agreeing to have us there for Bearcat and Air Bear to take the pics and AWJ Cub pilot and Rykie to handle the Go-Pro video from the Extra. We made loose arrangements a few days in advance with Cheri not knowing exactly when it would happen and briefed the detail on the day prior to the flight. Despite the fact that the chaps were engrossed in the final preparations for the test flight, they were incredibly accommodating and took the time out to brief properly with us and, despite reserving the right to call off the sortie at any point, they did not. Hopefully, some of the images will be useful in evaluating angles of incidence etc.....

What a fantastic marketing machine "The Airplane Factory" is. Congratulations to the entire team.

Hi mike, James et al,

I am sitting at my desk in the South African camp at Oshkosh and with sadness I understand that we will not be seeing you over here this year. But as Chalkie says 'hurry up but be safe'. There is always next year and I will ask Neil to book space in the campsite for you so that you chaps can enjoy your success with your fans over here.

She looks beautiful and I am pleased your proving flights are going well. Some of the photographs posted here are delightful - please collect some pictures for AP's article on the Sling 4.

All the best from ALL the South Africans over here!

Regards,
Athol Terence
