Yep, Beechcraft A45 T-34A-BH Mentor (N6849C, USAF sn 53-3357, cn G-118) to be exact, courtesy of another photo of this aircraft on Wikipedia.

That was a Mustang II which was a two seater so somewhat different
There was a Midget Mustang kit for sale on Avcom a year or two back. I wonder whether it was sold

That was a Bushby Mustang II ZS-VIE which is a different type of aircraft ..and a two seater
A Midget Mustang was registered in SA in the 70's ZS-UJX but I dont think it was ever completed
There was also a Midget Mustang kit for sale on Avcom a year or two back. I wonder whether it was sold
