Wing design done but still struggling a bit to source parts of the shelf. Want to avoid buying in bulk until such time that we have done some load testing so the search is on for some spars. Hopefully will find some soon. In the meantime Jaco is completing the design file so time is not wasted.

So change of plans. We could not get hold of just a couple of spars whithout buying the factory so we decided to change the wing design to a more conventional spar setup. We will be making our own channels from alli sheet/plate. Looks like we sourced some 3mm 6061-T6 plates and will hopefully have them in hand next week. Progress. Will also go pick up the engine soon to start the engine mount development.

Hi Stefan
Do you have a sketch or 3D rendering of what the Expedition is going to look like? The power plant idea is very exciting!

Hi MarkB,
We have not finalized the final look of the plane so we do not want to jump the gun. Soon.... 8)

The rib templates will be delivered tomorrow. We had lots of trouble with the drawings so it took some time to fix. :D
