Hi All,

Been quite a while since anyone posted here.

Just wanted to know does anyone have any info on her?

I know she was in SAFTA, since then I think they closed down and all the aircraft were up for auction?

Where is she now? Is she still at Heidelberg? Who is the owner currently? I'd possibly like to make contact with them...

Will be great hearing from all of you again!

All the best

Good day Avcom members,

Digging up some info again.

I know earlier this year the actual auction of the Safta Aircraft went live and a lot of the aircraft got sold, including my fathers old ZS-EVM.
Does anyone have any information on who the new owner might be? Plans with her? Maybe getting her flying again?
Any news and information will be much appreciated

I have seen several of the ex SAFTA aircraft being restored .. but so far no sign of EVM
Here is a pic of EVM at Rand in March 2009 to keep you going till we find her :)

Wow, now there's a blast from the past. I flew many hours in her when she was part of Wonderboom Flying School's fleet in the late eighties and early nineties.

Used her a few times as well in 1992 to go and visit my parents in Barberton when I used to go visit them almost every weekend back then in order to build up my hours.

Hope that she's still going strong somewhere.
