This B748 was flown from Seattle straight to Arizona for storage. How sad

Red an article last week about storing in the desert because it preserves the aircraft the most under hear conditions. Didn't get to read the full article but there are a couple of B748s in the desert awaiting delivery. Still seems odd to me...

From what I can see on Airliners.net - there are 3 brand new Boeings there. Ironically, all Japanese carriers.

Financial difficulties from the buyers I suppose. Even the Japannese economy is not doing that great at the moment. #-o

Why are some aft doors open?
