Mike's Safari - Lycoming 233
Mike Tomlinson decided to go the Lycoming route. His Safari will be powered by the Lycoming O-233 LSA engine

Engine mount done. 50mm per side clearance so the Lycosaurus should work fine.

Hallo Stefan,
Can you give me a quick comparison between 3300 Jabi and the 233? Price difference? I like the look of that 233. See they talk about 20l per h?

Hi Richard, I believe the project is completed. Paperwork was the last I heard. Not sure if it is flying yet. John Herbert in Nelspruit took over the project. We did not have time to complete it. We do have another Safari flying with a 235, owned by Frans Grotepas in CT. Doing very well. I believe he has in excess of 250 hours on it and is flying all over.
