Flysafair on Flightradar24
Hi Guys,
Anyone know if Flysafair planes will be equipped with ADS-B transponders allowing us to see them on Flightradar24?
Cheers

Re: Flysafair on Flightradar24
Was this the plane that Mango was/is using in a all white colour scheme?
Re: Flysafair on Flightradar24
No, Mango have no all white aeroplanes. Perhaps you're getting confused with the Star Air Cargo B733 ZS-VDB with the white fuselage and orange tail, on a wet lease/charter from Star Air Cargo. Mango had a technical snag develop on Saturday so they chartered Safair's 737-400(s) to help out. This is why you saw FySafair flying around using the Tulca call-sign. I'm sure Dave Andrew and co. were thrilled!
Excuse me sir, did we land or were we shot down?

Re: Flysafair on Flightradar24
My wife flew on ZS-VDP recently from CPT to PLZ and it was an all white B 737. No titles nor logos only the reg on the tail section and it was being operated by Mango.Skywalker001 wrote:No, Mango have no all white aeroplanes. I believe it came from Velvet Sky, I just thought it was being used/bought/leased by Flysafair.
Re: Flysafair on Flightradar24
Probably also chartered or related to the wet lease agreement between SAC and Mango but it certainly wasn't being operated by Mango. Just a Mango flight operated by Star Air Cargo. In fact your wife might recall that the cabin crew on board were not Mango employees, nor were they in Mango garb. ZS-VDB, though operated by Star Air, flies for Mango on a daily basis to assist while Mango increase their fleet and crew compliment. Being a 733 as oppose to a 738 (smaller therefore lower seating capacity), they generally use it for PE flights.Jasondn78 wrote: My wife flew on ZS-VDP recently from CPT to PLZ and it was an all white B 737. You more than likely correct, my wife certainly wouldn't notice the difference in uniforms and branding inside the aircraft..lolSkywalker001 wrote:Probably also chartered or related to the wet lease agreement between SAC and Mango but it certainly wasn't being operated by Mango. Re: Flysafair on Flightradar24
The all white aircraft could have been ZS-ASL also a Safair 737-300
