QATAR Airways in May 2014 is operating 2 one-way nonstop service on Cape Town – Doha route, on board Boeing 787-8 aircraft. On 05MAY14 and 10MAY14, the airline operates Doha – Johannesburg – Cape Town – Doha route, instead of Doha – Johannesburg – Cape Town vv.

I think the direct flight is a once off thing, as I have booked QTR in August from Cape Town to Doha, but the flight does stop in JHB, but it is on the Dreamliner. Makes no sense to me that there is no direct flight to FACT. Perhaps Emirates have the market all tied up with their 2 daily flights direct!
