That would I believe be 3B-NZA although interestingly its previous reg was ZS-HFN ..ie, no known Mexican reg
Came from the Mexican Military, but never came to SA. I don't know what the Mauritian registration is, if they still have that machine.

It would be interesting if you could still find some records ..the historical Mauritian register lists only 5 Jet Rangers ever being registered there of which none have Mexican civil or military connections listed, and only 1 B2 (NZA) having been registered which is a 3B-NZA, which is recorded as a B2 with B3 upgrade.
Bearcat,

I can't remember all the details that far back, my friends at Skydance Helicopters brought it in from Mexico, registered in the USA, and I sold it to Air Mauritius. It was N registered, if you now the N number of that one, it might ring a bell.

NZA was c/n 1938 and after its sale back to SA it became ZS-HFN again before being exported to the US as N380TC

Doesn't sound like the same helicopter, it was registered in the USA, then went to Mauritius, was then registered there. Last I knew of it. Think it had a few 7s in the N number at the time. I have a picture somewhere, will see if I can find it.

I also, some months later, sold them the flotation kit.

Historical records are not always right so it would be interesting to know the details

Here is a pic off the web of it operating in Mauritius

I do wonder what the Gauteng Traffic Police uses these choppers for (that is not already covered by what the SAPS choppers do)
