SAA Zebula Airshow 12th April 2014

The annual SAA Zebula Airshow will be taking place on 12 April 2014.

The fly in starts on Friday 11 April and ends on Sunday 13th April.

The Airshow should start around 11am and last until 3pm on the Saturday 12 th April.

For those wishing to fly in, please try our utmost to arrive before 10:30am as ATC will not allow arrivals and departures while the airshow is in progress. Please contact Zebula Tower on 120.20 for joining instructions. There will be plenty parking space available. A separate area has been designated for those flying in with helicopters.

AVGAS will be available at around R18/ liter. JET A1 avail at around R15/litre.

There are NO landing fees...

For those driving in, the cost for tickets at the main gate is R50 for adults and R20 for children. If you are flying in, you do NOT have to pay entrance fee...

Airshow commentary will be provided by Brian Emminis and his team from Capital Sounds.

Refreshments and food will be available at the airfield.

Zebula will host a runway party on the Friday and Saturday nights up at the airfield. Braai packs may be purchased for R60. Alternatively you may bring your own meat to braai. Zebula will provide the fires to braai your meat as well as free pap en sous. Music will be provided by Brian Emminis's team from Capital Sounds.

Hover Dynamics will be providing helicopter flipping at R250 per ticket. Tickets may be purchased at the airfield.

The SAA DC3 operated by Skyclass will be flying into Zebula for the Saturday - tickets will be available from Skyclass for the flight from Rand - Zebula -Rand. Those tickets cost R2199.

The cost of tickets for 15min flipping at Zebula on the day of the airshow will be R395 per person.
