In God I trust. The masses are never right, the minority are sometimes right, but the truth is always right.

<Rockwell Aero Commander 680 ZS-RIL>
<30 April 2024>
Every now and again, Bruce posts a photo of this old Commander (more correctly, an AC 680FL) and each time it looks more and more <sad>! It is heart-breaking to see, for this was a very good bus in its time and I was its driver often in Wing Airways days. Now I just wish they'd run a steam-roller over it and put it out of its misery...(ag, shame!)
As for -JCG: that C402 was new around 1975, so it is probably now fifty years old! It was my daily office job from November 1975 for roughly two years, until a young John Whittaker took over flying for Reef Industrial Painters, who traded it in for another 402, -JTD. I flew -JCG again later when John Winson took it into the Wings fleet at Lanseria. (John Whittaker had been an ATC in Durban and he subsequently went into SAA and flew 747s)
Keep up the wonderful work, Bruce! And thank you.
