Thanks. Any other ideas. Where did you install the IGN key and switches? Maybe some interior pics if you have.

Man, this project turned into a complete rebuild. The previous guy never dry fitted anything before he covered anything so we had to take the ailerons apart, modify them and recover. So whoever buys this cubby will have a brand spanking new aircraft.

That is when one fits the ailerons to the wing before covering both, to see if all hinge joints line up and check control connections and travel. Likewise fitting the tail-group in the same way for hinge alignment and control travel , stop to stop. Any alterations can then be made without spoiling a good fabric and paint job...........and frustrating the heebies out of the builder :lol:

Hello Stefan.

Ek verstaan jy het probleme gehad om die ailerons van die Cubby te pas. Jy is welkom om my te bel en te vra wat ek gedoen het om dit reg te kry. Dis te verstane dat jy nie alles van die Cubby gaan weet nie en net soos vir my, is dit ook vir jou n' leerskool in sekere opsigte. Ek het die ailerons, eintlik die hele vliegraam, droog gepas en opgemeet voor die oortrekproses begin is en alles het goed gepas. In die houer met boutjies ens sal jy sien is daar nylon wasters wat in die skarniere van die ailerons pas om te keer dat die metaal direk op mekaar skarnier. Hulle is omtrent drie mm dik. Sou jy hulle nie installeer nie gaan apsoluut niks pas nie. Nie dat dit nou meer saakmaak nie, want ek sien jy het die ailerons oorgebou. Hoop nie jy vind uit dit was onnodig nie. Die Cubby lyk goed so op die fotos, en jy is reg, dit is n' totaal nuwe vliegtuig.

And so ZU-EUP has found its way into my hands. It has not flown for a very long time. The VW engine has been removed and replaces with a 582 Rotax after quite a few problems and failures. The change was still in progress when the aircraft was hangared and remained there untill I dug it out.
I aim to get her flying asap.
