Re: Cubby Project-Rebuild
Thanks. Any other ideas. Where did you install the IGN key and switches? Maybe some interior pics if you have.

Re: Cubby Project-Rebuild
Man, this project turned into a complete rebuild. The previous guy never dry fitted anything before he covered anything so we had to take the ailerons apart, modify them and recover. So whoever buys this cubby will have a brand spanking new aircraft.

Re: Cubby Project-Rebuild
That is when one fits the ailerons to the wing before covering both, to see if all hinge joints line up and check control connections and travel. Likewise fitting the tail-group in the same way for hinge alignment and control travel , stop to stop. Any alterations can then be made without spoiling a good fabric and paint job...........and frustrating the heebies out of the builderHansH2 wrote:What is dry fitted?

Re: Cubby Project-Rebuild
Hello Stefan.
Seenwense.

Re: Cubby Project-Rebuild
And so ZU-EUP has found its way into my hands. It has not flown for a very long time. The VW engine has been removed and replaces with a 582 Rotax after quite a few problems and failures. The change was still in progress when the aircraft was hangared and remained there untill I dug it out.
I aim to get her flying asap.
