I think she got recently overhauled engines on her. As far as I know she belongs to a Consulting Engineering Company in Pretoria. Old friend of mine, retired from the SAP Airwing a few years ago, is flying her on a freelance basis for them. He was a SAPS fixed wing and helicopter pilot.

Black is just plain <wrong> for an aeroplane...in Africa, isn't it? (You have posted a few photos, also, of a Shrike Commander at FAGM, with lovely sand-coloured paintwork, which I find spoiled by the contrasting <grey> belly! The two main colours just do not fit together, in my opinion, Bruce -- I'm certain you know which a/c I refer to?)

I saw an all black Cessna 210 at Virginia back in December. Can’t recall the reg, but it looked pretty smart. Can’t imagine it to be very cool in that aerie in the hot summer sun
