Does anyone know what's the biggest aircraft to ever land in Walvis Bay?

Something I found odd 🤨 4 C172 flying around at 2am 🧐. 3 of them looked like they were doing circuits :-k

Transporter flight over FAST around 2am on 3 May 2024

Unread post by wolfd »

Anybody else heard what sounded like a transporter this morning just after 2am?
I used the playback feature on Flightradar but there didn't seem to be any flights into or out of Cape Town this morning.

I don't think the IL76's engines are loud enough to be heard in Cape Town when it takes off from FALA...

If you don't gear up your brain before takeoff, you'll probably gear up your airplane on landing.

N105TS arrived ORT on 7 May after a ~7000km flight from Recife across the Atlantic!

Circuits at FABW? More than likely AIFA training a/c.

Circuits at George. All 3 came from BW. I just found it odd because you don't normally see flight schools doing circuit training at 2am
