Interesting, thanks! I saw the Airlink flight that took off shortly after the Safair flight followed the regular flight path. Must have had a bumpy ride..lol.

Looks like the SAAF has quite a liking for Modova's charter airlines, this is the third one based in the same city that I have seen around lately, all flying B747Fs...

If you don't gear up your brain before takeoff, you'll probably gear up your airplane on landing.

Two B737 's popped in at Lubumbashi from Waterkloof. Now on their way to Kinshasa, I presume. One is ZS-SAI.
Also a L39 parked at ksa. Could not make out the insignia.
Brightish yellow and green. Angolan?

And now this SAAF Falcon 50 departed Waterkloof for a circuit, routed Sun City and heading back to Waterkloof. Is this a post maintenance checkflight? G06G https://fr24.com/G06G/390993e0

She sat on the ground at Waterkloof from 17 November till 8th January
On the 8th of January she departed for CPT but stopped climb at 28,000ft and turned back to Waterkloof
They descended to about 17,000 before turning back again towards CPT and then flew all the way there.
She retuned to Waterkloof the same day.

Today (7 Feb) was her first flight since then and appeared to be a test flight
So guessing something needed fixing

Wasting money on an aircraft that was delivered in November 1962!!! Bite the bullet and get C295, C390 and Y20's.

These C-130B are way overdue to be retired. Marshall's laughing all the way too the bank...

While the Ozzie's have ordered a new batch of C130J to replace the older ones...
