After market fixes

Unread post by stefan »

Hi Guys,
during the course of developing the new Safari LSA and VLA we have made some significant improvements on the handling qualities of our aircraft. We will make some of the fixes available as after market fixes for the Bushbabies, Explorer's and Safari's soon. These include flaperon leading edge extensions and washout plates to counter adverse yaw, different aileron balancing horns. Some simple but very effective fairings to clean up airflow around aerodynamically critical parts etc etc.

The new Explorers and Safari's will have some of these changes incorporated in the design and some will still be available as aftermarket products.

I will post more information here in the next month or two. The test are ongoing. This is just a heads-up. These fixes are not all my own doing but a great team effort of extensive development and testing as well as the involvement of senior dutch engineer, a US navy test pilot and a air force flight test engineer.

...hi Stefan, any updates or a list of products on this?

....aldo quick question if I may, if one buys a factory buildt a/c, how do you become owner/ maintenance guy on the a/c (NTCA) since you are not the builder?
