Aircraft Down at Mountain View Airfield 7 March 2016

Just got news from a friend that an AC went in at Mountain View Airfield just north of Lanseria. Huge plume of smoke. According to him no survivors. No further info right now. RIP.
Flying is about discipline!

It is down about 50m short of the runway at Mountainview.

After recently facilitating some ground school training at Skyhawk (if it is), I have a gut-wrenching feeling I knew the occupants.... :cry:
