If you plan on keeping your aircraft for a while, go for the 5 year licence. :D

Believe me it is worth it not to have to deal with them every year.....................I am sure you make more than that per minute!

Haha..

Ermelo? I used to drive through there to varsity in Durban when we were farming in Pilgrims Rest.

My introduction to rugby came in 1981 in the Ermelo Holiday Inn, Boks vs All Blacks..

Take care Whirly.

Is there anybody on ICASA offices.
For 2 aircraft, I have submitted all my data (in response to emails received from ICASA) and now after numerous emails and numerous calls (no answer) I still have no idea on my amount payable and I have been told I cannot pay without a ref number (which I am waiting for)

what do I do?

Hi All,
Some advice needed please.
In light of the yearly headache of dealing with ICASA, I opted for the five year licence, for which I have the proof of payment.
Radio station Licence duly arrived, envelope greedily opened to reveal a Licence valid for one year only
As ICASA answer none of my numerous emails and calls, my question is the following :
Will next year's Licence be automatically issued, or must I insist on the present Licence to reflect a five year period?

I think they messed up! Mine states a 5 year period so I think you should ask for a new one. Fortunately you have one while you wait to get it fixed.
