Hi all clickers

My wife bought her self a Nikkon D3000(to mom from mom)
On the side of the boks shows a free training value of R1200.00
The sale guy at game don't know where to get or go for this training

Do some of your guys/girls know where she can go for the training

Read everything on that voucher very carefully - generally you have to go on-line and register
at the location closest to you, and they will advice you when there is their next training session.
They wait until they can fill all the bookings before they run a workshop.

Sorry I can't be more specific - you hand in the voucher when you go to the session, so I don't
have the info to hand right now.

Question what's the best software at moment for editing your pictures? I'm using Nikon's software but would like to know what everybody else likes or dislikes.
Considering looking at other options at moment.
I just upgraded my trusty D100 (10 years old) with a almost brand new D200 for a fraction of the price of what they cost new a couple of year ago.

All I can say you can still get a couple of nice DSLR with low time on them since everybody wants to have the latest and greatest.

Have a look some nice D300's floating about on Gumtree.

I went for a D200 so I don't have to change any of my current Nikon lenses that's been working flawless on my D100.

Patience is the name of the game, you have allot of professional guys now dumping there D300's and better on the market for newer bodies!

Adobe Lightroom 3

I do 99.9% of my editing in LR 3. I can't remember when last I had to moved a photo that I wanted to published on the web to PS to do something that I could not do in LR. At airshows one also tend to generate a large number of shots, most of which share the same conditions, so the bulk futures in LR make them a song to edit.

The database function of LR also make it very easy for me to catalogue my shots.

Lightroom 3 is one of the best editing packages around, should you buy it, the get hold of Marius van der Westhuizen ( http://www.mwest.co.za) he has a fantastic training video on CD, you wont go wrong.

Hi everybody I recently purchased a Canon EOS 60d camera and would like to get a zoom lens to photograph planes what should I buy. Maybe a Canon 70-300 is lens.

That 70-300 is a lovely lens but look at the 100-400 as well!
